I hope to keep the work-related interruptions to a minimum, but the reality is that because I have to do expensive things like eat and pay rent, Promises can’t always be my first priority.  The solution is obvious, figure out how to make a living wage doing this…or win the lotto.  You’ll be happy to know I already have my ticket for Saturday, so that plan is right on schedule.

I will be back full strength, on the 15th, (I’m giving myself that weekend to draw).  Then back to normal posting.  In the meantime, Happy Valentines Day! As the real-life Baroness would say “Love and Sammiches”!

I have to admit, I’m oddly unapologetic about it.  I took a new day-job that ended up eating a lot more time than I expected, but it’s been a huge learning experience, so no regrets and I’m ready to ramp back into Promises Promises with new energy! Rah! Rah! Rah!

I’m still learning the software.  As far as artists go, I’m pretty old-school (yay pencils!) so if my pages or links aren’t working, odds are pretty good I don’t know about it so please drop me an email or a comment and I’ll get it figured out.  You may have already noticed the snazzy new links bar and tags cloud to the left.  (Did that all by myself, woot!)

So the good news is that we’re back.  The bad news is that posting will still be a bit sporadic, but I’ll get it ramped back up in time for Fan expo. If not, I’ll be the one sitting in Artist’s Alley with a big “FAIL” sign.
