I tried spin class for a while. I went to this great little club in Toronto, Get Spun, my friend Lola recommended.
It’s a heck of a workout, I liked the club and the instructors, and honestly, I’d tell anyone to try it at least once. It’s a lot of work and you really feel accomplished when you’re done, but I just couldn’t get to that Zen-place I get when I’m running. Ultimately, it’s back to the treadmill for me, but I’d spin again.
It helps to go with a buddy.
