Hal-Con

Prints are ordered, flights are booked and I only have my transportation to the airport to sort out for Hal-Con this weekend. What’s more impressive is that I’ve still managed to keep my workout schedule this week.

So far.

…and it’s Tuesday.

Hurrrm. Maybe that’s not quite as impressive as it sounded in my head.

Either way, I will be at Hal-Con, this weekend with Joel Duggan of Starcrossed. We’ll be at tables twenty-nine and thirty on the second floor of the Halifax Trade and Convention Centre, selling our books, sketching our guts out all weekend, and doing the webcomics panel with Faith Erin Hicks on Saturday at 12:30pm in the Looking Glass Room. Additionally, my friend Casey Golding will be at table fifty-three and his stuff is always worth checking out.

This is my last convention of 2012 and I haven’t been back to Halifax since 2006 so there’s lots to look forward to, but the big news at this show isn’t mine. Joel will be launching his first print collection of Starcrossed comics! He’s been working his butt off on this for a long time and I’m really looking forward to seeing it, and getting some fish and chips. They have really good fish and chips in Halifax. But watch out for the sea gulls, those fat bastids will snatch fries right out of your hands if you’re not paying attention.
