With thanks to Phil and Josh I finally got a long awaited comicspress update. (woot!)
So I’ve been monkeying with the new features, (most of) today. The really cool one is at the top of the left sidebar. It’s a bookmark! So if you wanted to start at the beginning of the archives and read forward, you can tag where you left off and go right back to that comic the next time you come visit.
I’ve also updated the 2011 appearances. So far Brian and I will be at Wizard World in March and Fan Expo in August. Two very excellent excuses to spend a few weekends in Toronto! (Yay!)
The social network buttons are all working. I’m trying to figure out how to add them to the blog posts, but you can share any of the comics on Facebook, Twitter, Digg, Stumbleupon and reddit, just by clicking one of those. (And please feel free to do that, I could definitely use the hits.) Comments are working on both the blog and the comics, but the comic comments button has been moved to the panel under the navigation buttons, (the one with the comic’s title). I’m still playing with the formatting on that, but if there is one thing you learn from trying to do it yourself, it’s the value of professionals.
For the next couple of weeks I’ll be picking away at the site so if you happen to find any broken links or images and wouldn’t mind dropping me an email, I’d appreciate it.
