All set to start a brand new shiny week?! Alive, alert, awake, enthusiastic?! (My friend Carolyn says that, she’s very cheerful, I have yet to see that it helps.)
Big week coming up for Promises. I’m heading to SPX this weekend with Brian for the first time. I’ve actually prepped a little mini of strips to have on sale at the show. The plan is still to have a nice big volume ready for next year, but this is a good place to start, get some more attention to the site and all that good stuff…which reminds me, I still need to figure out how to install the analytics. I did see on my Google Reader that my subscribers have doubled! Yep. I now have 4. (Hi Mum!) Very exciting.
Speaking of books, my friend Leisl Adams of On The Edge has completed a really nice collection. Check it out if you haven’t been over there. Excellent work, congrats Leisl!
In other news, I got a very nice surprise in the mail on Friday. I had submitted a piece to the Darkstalkers Tribute book a while ago. When the winners list came out, my name wasn’t on it, win some lose some right? Well, I guess it was an oversight, because they sent me a copy of the book and I’m on page 226! I’m not above admitting, there was a little happy dancing. It’s a really nice book, in a lot of ways, I think it seriously upstaged it’s predecessor, the Streetfighter Tribute book, but I guess I’m a little biased there.
