This is still really bugging me.
The (very deep) narrative in today’s comic was meant to be a haiku. So in the interest of getting the syllable count absolutely correct, I did a check on a haiku site.
What I had originally was:
Rude alarm, up early Pack lunch, coffee, bus, very full day! But… That’s tomorrow.The counter is telling me that early and very are two syllables each and I’m sure they’re only one. Have I gone off my nut or is there something wrong with that counter?
